Morehead Utility Plant Board Maintenance Department has been awarded The Kentucky Gas Associations Accident Prevention Award for 2007. This award is given to member companies that have maintained “OSHA Criteria “of zero injuries and incidences. During the 8100 man hours attributed to the natural gas system in 2007, Morehead Utility Plant Board maintenance employees were able to report zero accidents.
This is the sixth time that the Morehead Utility Plant Board has received this award from the Kentucky Gas Association, having also won it in 1990, 1995, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
